Why is there a loud clicking noise in my song?

That's the metronome. Your computer speakers pick up the sound while you're singing. To avoid that, you can use headphones (so only you will be able to hear the metronome, and the speakers won't). The other option is to turn your volume down while you're recording.

Why can't I see myself?

Make sure you have the right camera input selected in the drop-down menu above the video box. Also make sure your webcam is enabled on your computer.

What is reverb?

You know how you always sound better when you sing in the shower? That's because of reverb. It's a common vocal effect added to pop songs. Check it out!

How do I change a style after recording my video?

Just select a different style in the drop-down menu, and hit "Apply". This will reprocess the existing recording with a new style.

If I use Facebook to register on U2B Idol, will you automatically publish stuff to my profile?

No, we will never publish anything to your Facebook profile without your explicit permission for each and every video.

Can I save my video without sharing it publicly?

Yes. Click on the "Publish" button after you're done recording, and select the "private" option. You can always make it public later if you decide you want to share your masterpiece with others.

Can I make my video private after I've shared it publicly?

Yes. Go to your MyVideos page and click the small lock icon on the left corner of the video you want to change. This will change it from public to private. Click it again to change it back.
